Fitness Coaching is a dynamic and personalized approach to acheiving exercise and physique goals, guided by experienced professionals dedicated to optimizing individual’s physical well-being. In this collaborative and supportive relationship, coaches work closely with clients to design tailored exercise regimens, nutritional plans, and lifestyle strategies that align with their unique needs, preferences, and objectives.
Unlike personal training, fitness coaching is a commitment to education and empowerment (rather than just telling clients which exercises to do). Coaches impart knowledge on exercise techniques and function, nutrition principles, and the science behind fitness, equipping clients with the tools to make informed decisions about their exercise. This educational component not only enhances clients’ understanding, but also fosters a sense of autonomy, enabling them to take control of their journey in working out.
beyond bare fitness
Starting a fitness journey can be an overwhelming process and it might be very tempting to try to pursue exercise whilst staying in our comfort zone. But comfort zones tend to hinder our ability to make progress rather than help it, and that can be especially true when wanting to make changes to our physiques. Therefore, coaching on fitness from a nudist perspective can provide a more holistic approach to the process.
Physically, by discussing and creating fitness goals and objectives without any clothing, we can do a better job of determining where we are currently vs where we want to be (as well as where we have been in the past) with a much clearer and comprehensive picture than if we were to have clothes on. This also helps to track progress and determine new goals or outcomes.
Mentally, as nudists and naturists, we have already gained some sense of comfort with our bodies, as well as a strong sense of mind-body connection. This is an excellent starting point when it comes to exercising from a place of non-judgment as we are well-aware of the benefits of body diversity, body positivity, and body neutrality.
